A flawed system that is well built. So, despite my complaints I bit the bullet and got the Nintendo Switch, which I’ll likely be selling my WiiU to make up the difference for that mess. ANYWAY I wanted to get my thoughts out after actually getting my hands on the device.

What do you call a device for making and breaking the connection in an electric circuit? I’m surprised this is still in stock even though it’s backordered. When you really think about it an Xbox or PS4 for the same price can’t be as easily portable as the Switch since you have to lug around a console the size and weight of a textbook. It is truly revolutionary. Mine continue to runs perfectly fine after months, I mostly play in docked mode though with a Pro controller, and I find it worth the price to be able to play exclusive Nintendo games that are just fun. I’m rating the hardware itself primarily The specs are acceptable for $300, but the build quality is not. This stuff is the cheapest of cheap plastic. At $300, they really have no excuse for making this so cheaply. The motion/gyro controls have noticeable latency. I don’t think that is acceptable in this day. The controllers are pretty poor ergonomically. The tiny flimsy joysticks were the first thing I noticed. It feels more like a toy than a piece of respectable hardware. I’m pretty disappointed in that aspect. I mean… I feel…
